Essential skills facilitate a systematic program delivered by specialist teachers. Our quiet and private facility also means less distraction for your child and more time learning. This ensures the maximum comfort of your child in all seasons and all types of weather. An enclosure means we not only control the temperature of the water but also the temperature of the atmosphere. We are also the only fully enclosed swim school in cairns that is privately owned. Essential skills offer small class sizes (4 per class for infants, 3 per class for learn to swim). Our difference is in our class structure and our facility. We provide a modern, catering to all ages, clean aquatic education centre open for lessons 12 months of the year, safe, all stages.
