Cairns Southside Judo Club is committed to looking after all Judo players, both competition and social, aged 5 and above. We also recognise that consistant with almost every regional community Judo club in Australia, approx 80% of our members are juniors under the age of 12 yrs. Cairns Southside Judo Club therefore focuses on junior judo development, delivering classes in a manner that best meets the needs of all it's members in particular it's younger junior players. We do our best to provide sport that is Safe, Supportive, Inclusive and Enjoyable. Our Judo is values based, gently encouraging the development of positive social values such as Courage, Politeness, Respect, Honour, Modesty, Friendship, Sincerity and Self-Control. Come in and have a look. We feel confident that our approach to sporting participation, especially junior participation, will meet with your approval and needs.

Grassroots Instruction that genuinely caters to the needs of the Club's members, and to community expectations. A friendly family based club with strong community ties in Cairns. Not just about "Sports Judo" and winning medals but very much about values based sports participation through the building of Physical, Social and Emotional literacy.
